Any Indian students applying for student visa in Germany needs to have their certificates verified from APS (German Embassy, Delhi). APS is required for a German Degree. A student applying for a non-German degree is exempted from APS document verification.

Normally the APS verifies your qualifications by way of contacting the relevant Authority responsible for issuing Qualifications. Eg .University for Tertiary education.

The duration to complete the APS process lies between 30-45 days from the date of application. The student needs to pay relevant fees as verification fees to APS. The student requires to submit all his academic documents along with few other documents for the verification. The APS verifies the authenticity and validity of the documents and issue the APS certificate. This certificate is required to submit for Visa application.
