2. Do I have job placement from the university after graduation or should I figure it out myself?

Instead of buying food from outside, preparation of food by own will reduce the cost of food expenses. By reducing the Spend on leisure activities will reduce the overall cost. Transportation in Germany is cheaper for students. Also in other Countries, subsidised transportation facilities are offered to students.

By doing part-time jobs the students can manage their living expenses to a certain extent. They cannot make savings through part-time jobs rather they can meet a portion of their tuition expenses. However, after the graduation, they can work full time post study. During that time, they can save and find a job offer which lead to a work permit. Once a work permit is available and work for nearly 5 years and pay tax in the country. They can apply for permanent residency and can undergo a sustainable life with family in Europe.

4. Can Students have the opportunities of doing freelancing

Freelancing for eg: design skills, fashion design, music, dancing, digital marketing, sports training, drawing training etc. he can do in linked in, he can do the add and develop the products.

5. After my course completion, how can I start for my job search?

To search effectively:

  1. try to get internships
  2. try to improve local language of the country
  3. Linked in – areas in your job fields, skill sets you have and skills you don’t have
  4. Register job portals and fairs.
  5. it is completely on student’s individual hard work to get a job.

6. Is it easy to get visa for Europe?

So gaining required skills is important to get job and how large the job market or job opportunities exist. For eg: what is the basic requirement? However, if you have the local language knowledge and skillsets you have 100% chances to get a full time job. Even if you have skills but do not get job, then it means how small is the job market is.

9. How many months I require to get a part time job

  • The Students will need at least 1 month to 3 months to get a part-time job once they start studying in a college or university. Germany needs efficient skilled and non-skilled workers to fill the vacancies in various fields especially in Engineering, IT, Healthcare, Finance, etc. Candidates who has English proficiency can get an English speaking jobs though competitive. But majority of full time Jobs in Germany requires German Language Skills except for Part-time jobs

The students can do part time jobs of 20 hrs during regular semester and unlimited hours during Semester breaks, provided the it will limit to total working hours of 140 full days or 280 half days in a year. The minimum wage rate is 12.41 before tax for part time jobs

12. How competitive is the Salary for a Fresh Graduate in Germany
